A healthy body

Aku mendapat pencerahan ini dari akun IG @life.withkate. Aku ingin berbagi di sini karena membantu aku melihat kembali prioritas hidup yang berpengaruh pada tubuhku. Aku tidak banyak berlatih angkat beban, sekitar 15-20 menit saja di pagi hari sebelum jalan kaki sejauh 4-5km.

The sooner you realize that a healthy body weight is a side effect of a healthy body, the faster you will be able to achieve and maintain your ideal weight.

Here’s what’s most likely getting in your way:

  1. Deep patterns of self-neglect and self-sabotage. No exercise routine or diet will fix this. Patterns of self-neglect are typically something we learn in childhood and are often praised for. Taking care of everyone else and neglecting yourself will never lead to health or weight-loss.
  2. A lack of self-trust. How many times have you said you were going to eat healthier, drink more water, make exercise a priority and never did? These promises without follow-through. Destroy your relationship with yourself. Meaning, when you say you’re going to do something relationship with knows you won’t. Rebuilding yourself and activating more self-trust is absolutely critical! Start small and keep your word.
  3. A lifetime of emotional pain and repressed emotions. When women begin to heal their trauma and process their emotions, their body releases excess weight. I have witnessed it thousands and thousands of times. Ladies, your body is not broken; it is extremely intelligent, and achieving your health goals is going to require you to do the deeper work. The sooner you realize this, the better.

over 20 years…..

  1. Your body sees your caloric deficit as another threat. In a perfect world, we could all practice more fasting and meal skipping. But this world is far from perfect, and I’ve never met a female who isn’t already overwhelmed with stress in her life. And so, when we start to add more stress by restricting calories, the body gets overwhelmed with stress, the hormones become depleted, and weight-loss can be nearly impossible. Chronic caloric restriction will destroy your health over time, and anything that destroys your health will also compromise your ability to lose weight.
